Nagoya Kanko Hotel

- Great location! Very close to Fushimi station. Walkable to Sakae and Nagoya Station.- The hotel outer appearance looks a bit old but its inside interior looks good. - Very clean- They even provide pyjamas, facial cleansing gel and cream.- Minibar for free!- Surrounded by cafes and minimarts

- We booked a hotel for 2 adults and 1 toddler. We contacted the hotel for a crib but they said they do not have and we can sleep with our baby on a bed together. However, the bed is just queen size which is toooooo small for 3 of us (our husband and I are 165-170 cm with a bit plump but definitely not obese) that we couldn't move during our sleep. When we went to the reception, a receptionist said that they cannot provide a mattress for sleeping separately and the only thing we can do is to upgrade our room to a higher room which had a king bed but has the same room size as our room and we have to pay extra for the upgrade premium . It's unreasonable that they expect 2 adults and 1 kid to sleep together on 1 queen bed.- They have all amenties, except a shower cap..- We didn't buy breakfast but from what we saw, the breakfast looked too simple for the price.- Limited staff can speak English.

The hotel staff is fabulous. The location of the hotel was perfect, proximity to many cafe and restaurant choices and the train station as well. The room was very spacious. The lounge was an absolute gem.

The rooms were a bit dated and as we were looking for more plugs to charge our devices (we were 4 people), we found a lot of dusty areas and lamps. There are no USB ports. The washroom was a bit dated as well, but we've seen worse.

I love the old hotel feel with modern convenience.And the 6th floor check in room was amazing. A library, study, complimentary coffee and seating. So comfortable!

Street view not the best but hardly worth complaining about.

We only stay 2 nights here but we are very happy with the hotel. Comfortable & clean with friendly & helpful staff.

Clean, pjs were great, space was amazing and lounge for guests while waiting was wonderful. Staff is very accommodating and there are many options for food esp for kids.t

The hotel was nicer than expected. There were nice decorations for the new year’s. Also the drink bar had nice books to read.

The gym and spa were expensive extra fee which was a surprise. I wanted to take my kids to the pool but they were too young. They were disappointed because they couldn’t go there.

Beautiful old-school hotel originally built in the 30s, loved the classic design and common spaces! Convenient to a nearby subway station, use exit 10 if you will be carrying luggage as it’s the only one with an elevator.Fantastic in-house bakery where I was able to get Christmas cake, and loved the change of an Italian breakfast buffet!

We were first put into a smoking room and the smell was horrible, the lovely staff moved us to a non smoking level but the smell was still there.Both rooms and mould growing around the air con vents and in bathrooms, Building is lovely but needs a desperate renovation soonParking is only free if you enter after 3pm and leave before 12 next day every day.Beds were EXTREMELY hard and pillows were the exact opposite.As lovely as the staff were I won't be going back

The best hotel I have ever visited in Japan during my 25 business trips to Japan.

Everything was perfect. I appreciated that his hotel didnt have the usuall negative Japanese mentality toward foreigners when everything that you ask for outside of their usual mindset is responded with " sorry it is not possible " . This hotel can provide anything you ask for. It has very elegant interior - for top level executives or high ranking politicians meetings. All members of staff give immediate and professional responce. Excellent service. Thank you.

Location, parking in basement.

Wifi in our first room didn’t work. We got access to another room where the WiFi worked during the first night. We got another room the next day.Renovations during the night at 1am, couldn’t sleep because of the noise. We called the reception to have it solved.Only adults were allowed in the gym. First hotel where my teenagers were not allowed in the gym.

Fantastic convenient location near the subway station and not too far from the main train station. Great buffet breakfast, fantastic staff to help improve our experience.

A more traditional hotel, not as well suited to families room/bed wise, but staff did their best to accomodate.

Espacio accommodations include a lot of nice extras. The bathroom was luxurious and the breakfast, tea and happy hour very nice. Did not use washing machine but it was there as well as a simple kitchen. View from our room was not special but Espacio lounge was pretty.

The room was small and not fit to family, the bed was comfortable, but small for 4 people, we have been charged on the breakfast on our children, although my order include breakfast

The hotel location was very close to the train station, convenient store and restaurants. Nagoya station was one station away and it was walkable distance. Many times after my husband and I ate dinner at Nagoya station we walked back to the hotel to burn off some calories. There was washing machine and even provided laundry detergent. That was a nice touch. The room had nice color theme and was very modern.

The room we stayed had a kitchenette but there was no dishes nor utensils. Had to call house keeping for it and was a bit inconvenient. Also the iron and ironing board was not in the room. Many other hotels we stayed had iron and ironing board in the room.
